It is positioned in Cusco’s lively historical city center and 2 blocks away from Plaza de Armas Square. On our recent trip, we booked the train and headed up to Machu Picchu on our own. It was uncomplicated, although our train was canceled due to the nationwide protests and we had to rebook them.
